Carla Sacharowitz

Carla is a certified practising paediatric Speech Pathologist with over 20 years experience working with children in early intervention.

She is passionate about supporting children with a diverse range of speech, language, literacy, learning and communication differences. She follows a strength based approach and strives to achieve goals in a safe, fun and positive environment.

Carla
 continues to study and train in a range of clinical areas that extend her knowledge and guide her Neurodiversity-affirming practice.

1:1 THERAPY

Individual speech therapy sessions are tailored to each child’s needs and strengths. Support is provided in early intervention, speech sound development, language, social communication, play skills, hearing loss, and early literacy, with a strong focus on practical communication and parent coaching.

SCHOOL VISITS

School-based sessions support children within their learning environment, targeting speech, language, social communication, phonological awareness, and literacy skills. Collaboration with teachers ensure goals are functional, relevant, and support classroom success.

GROUP THERAPY

Small group sessions provide opportunities for children to practise communication skills with peers in a supportive setting. Groups focus on social communication, play, language, and early literacy, helping children build confidence and apply their skills in real-life interactions.
